BPI is a systematic approach to help any organization no matter how small or large  make significant changes in the way it does business to gain efficiencies and reduce operating costs related to those changes.

What must you know to implement a successful BPI project:

¨ What the organization's strategic goals and purposes are.

¨ Who are we, what do we do, and why do we do it?

¨ Who the organization’s customers are.

¨ May be internal and external

¨ What business processes are necessary to meet customer needs.
